Take a trip to West Africa!

Trips can be arranged to Travel to Mali, Guinea and Senegal

Trips can be taken solo, in a self arranged group or as part of a guided group.

MALI

Travel to Mali, West Africa

Seydou Coulibaly leads group trips to Mali every summer for 3 weeks. These trips are jam-packed with dance and drum, but can be modified to focus on other aspects of life in Mali. These trips also include 3 expeditions out of Bamako, 2 to Bambara villages and 1 to Dogon Country and the Escarpment there.

Seydou also maintains a house in Bamako with electricity and running water that can be rented at any point by individuals or groups. Dance lessons, drum lessons, Bambara classes, guided tours of Bamako, surrounding villages, Dogon Country, Mopti, Segou, Djenne and other areas in Mali can be arranged. You can easily arrange to study with master dancers and drummers from the National Ballet, the lead Ballets in Bamako, and participate in (or observe) cultural and religious ceremonies.

By staying in Seydou's house, you will be looked after by his family and friends, ensuring that your trip will be safe and hassle-free. You will also get to experience life in Mali in a much different way from the typical tourist staying a hotel.
